Cozy place with comfortable booths. Great food and service. Ask for hot sauce! The owner came and chatted for awhile. Good to see another family owned restaurant in this location. I hope this one sticks around. Can't wait to go back again~!
This is a very delicious Indian Restaurant in Petaluma. We were here once before, and had the lunch specials. All were great. This time we had Saag Paneer, Lamb Momo's. and garlic Naan all were extremely good. Service was top notch. The place is very clean and the waitress/owner was very friendly and helpful with our food choices. I definitely recommend this establishment.
Totally content with our Valentine's Day dinner! Sweet place. Soft music, booths and not noisy even though it was almost full. We could talk, enjoy our Henhouse IPA, Chicken and pumpkin curry, mixed vegetable dosa and papadum without any bustle. I'm glad they close for a couple hours 2-4p to rest because we walked in at 4:30 on a Friday and so did many others. Very nice people. I see that some people complain about slow service and not great food - I'd rather have hot well prepared food rather than slapped together dishes with no flavor. Is it the best? It was flavorful and we enjoyed it immensely, that's what matters to me. It is the only south Indian dosa cafe in the north bay that I know of right now but still delicious. No photos this time but I will next time! Check them out!
The food here has always been great. They have a large menu of food options and I feel like I've never been let down by any of the sauces or meats I've ordered here. Really good place for takeout or delivery. The service here is a bit slow, but they're very friendly and it's understandable considering the size of the place. The restaurant itself has a basic layout (just the main dining room with a register). I feel like the lighting is just a bit too dark every time I step foot inside, but that's the ambiance they've chosen.
We had Butter chicken Tandoori combo Daal Pulau rice & the chicken samosas that are not called that. Butter naan Everything we ate was cooked perfectly, seasoned well & scrumptious! The service was impeccable. The servers recommendations were right on. We've been back in Petaluma for 2.5 years & this is the first Himalayan or Indian food we've liked. This is what we're used to coming from the South Bay! We are so thankful to have a place to go when we want the real good good! My 6 year old said to tell the owner that it was the best restaurant ever, so we did!
Wow! Amazing food. Chicken cooked perfectly. Sauce flavorful! Portion perfect. Yum yum yum!!! Had chicken masala and it was awesome. Naan was fresh and yummy. Hella good
I want to keep spreading the word about this place -- some of the most delicious Indian / Nepalese food I've had. Everything is made with care. Family-run. The dosas and apricot curry are my two faves.
